Hans Koops van 't Jagt

Discus Hans was born in the Netherlands, and has been involved with Discus since 1977. In 2001, while in Holland he became the Dutch distributor of "Stendker" Discus - the largest Discus hatchery in Europe, and for over 40 years has been highly respected for their top quality fish.

With his first appearance at the 2003 ACA in Cincinnati, Discus Hans and the Stendker Discus surprised everyone. "This quality has not been seen for years in the USA" was one of the remarks. In 2004, Hans moved to the US. and along with his wife Joanne, now own one of the biggest Discus facilities in the USA. He has won numerous awards in various discus shows, and continues to support Fish Clubs, and the discus hobby.

Discus Hans has made it his goal to promote these high quality German Bred Discus in the United States, and to share his experience, and
knowledge and his love of discus.
